As you all know my car got keyed a few weeks back, im not sure if it will be easier to supply the paint myself or get the garage to use the paint they got.

So far i only found a few websites that supply it, and they are American.

http://www.automotivetouchup.com/choosecolor/buypaint.aspx?year=1994&make=Nissan&model=300zx&colordesc=Superior+Blue+Met%2C+TK3%2C+No%2C+No

$75 for a can is like £37.50 without PNP, my colour code for my car is TK3.

Does anyone else use any places to get paint for there car? Expensive? Good job done??

thanks

you'd be better off just going into a paint suppliers and getting it mixed as over the years your paint will have faided, doing this means they can get it as close as possible, take the car with you and they'll hold the colour chips against it for ya.

Who is going to paint the car Murt? the guy who did the colour change has his paint shop opposite you!

The bodyshop will be able to get the paint a lot cheaper than you...and if its wrong..then its his fault. Get him to get the paint mixed to match to your bodywork (eg. using petrol filler cap..etc).

mate, your not talking major money to do this, get teh pain shop to spray it

In station road work shops? Because the rainbow place is being demolished and a lorry test center is being put there

i agree... if you supply the paint and the bodyshop just goes ahead and paints it... if its wrong, you dont have a leg to stand on. let the bodyshop do it, that way if its not right you can poke em in the eye... legally! :wack:

Exactly what they all say above.........

........just take it into a paint shop and leave everything to them.

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Mine is TK3 too and the guy in the bodyshop mixed/ordered it himself when I got my spoiler done, it was as near to a perfect match as I think you could get.
