Some people have too much money and it makes me sick lol

I can honestly see this being another R8, Demand outstripping the ability to supply. Some will no doubt cash in and look to sell (Though to try and prevent this there have been warnings from Nissan of non-transferable warranty within an early ownership period) and sell at a premium.

Long wait for the cars delievery though...

...Especially with testing of the already planned V-Spec version to follow.

Hmmm, £3.5K deposit with final price starting at £52,900 and rising to £55,500

A brand new 300zx TT would be more expensive I would have thought if it was still in production and was based on a series 2 or 3 but with a refresh to the styling.

Too true, they were last sold for approx £35K in 1994.

Don't forget, back then the government had a 10% car tax on every new vehicle sold in this country. Without that tax it would have been £31K.

Cars in the 80's and 90's were a lot more expensive than they are today, in real terms.

I can remember my ex father-in-law buying a new Escort 1.3GL in October 1982 for £5600. Think a 2.8i Capri was about £9500 at the time.

You can buy a similar car to the Escort today but with much more toys (electrics, blue tooth, CD etc) for about £7000

This proves that cars are a lot cheaper to buy today than they were 25 years ago.

Surely the focus would be equivalent to the escort but prices for them are £10k-£17k ? But yeh, your point still applies......not sure how prices would compare for exotics like ferrari's, astons though
