ok so i did a silly thing and couldn't find an axle stand point when i was changing the engine oil. To cut a long story short i put it on the ball joint/rose joint bit where the tension rod meets the chasis for a moment before deciding it wasn't a good idea.

Been getting a probressivly louder crunching noise from the front end over bumps until the cars warmed up and also its leaking oil from that joint.

Steerings a bit funny too, However somethings come up and i need to drive it out of London.

Is it liable to break or if it does will the joint just break and it will stay attached ???? Or am i fine taking it easy.
