Anyone know where I can get the heat shield/padding to go on the inside of the bonnet? Mine's looking rather tatty so could do with being replaced. No damage to paint yet though luckily!

or just take it off, keeps the engine cooler, and you can hear that nice v6 better

I've noticed some cracks in the paint where the FG moldings are on the vent - not sure if this due to the heat but just thought that I could tidy up the bay while I'm at it!

 

Is there nothing I can get of fleabay and 'cut to size'?

I haven't asked MJP/Andy Z yet no...and although the steam coming off would look cool I think I'd like to try and preserve my bonnet more! I'm pretty sure having no heat shield won't affect your paintwork, however i could be wrong, but i believe i read that in another thread :)

TBH bud i ain't an expert, but i remember this being discussed in a previous thread and alot of knowledgable people agreed that it was not strictly needed.
