Not worth it for a 4, maybe a 5 or 6 but not a 4. I'd hang on.

maybe it was just an impulse thing, ourlass actually liked it though

My mate last year spent 3.5K on just maintenance on the evo 4 :shock:

if you want an evo go for the 3 or 5, avoid the 4. Big end journals and main bearings are weak, AYC pumps are prone to failure and the brakes are aweful!

I looked into getting an evo4 a while ago, they suffer from something

called 'crankwalk', apparantly it's not a case of 'if', but 'when!' Bit like the

series 1 ptu on a zed.

They have a habit of packing up, especially when hot, something to do

with the location of it, a series 2 sorts it out though.

I 'think' the PTU is like an ignition unit or something along those lines :) Mine has a S2 now, so no probs with that in the future for me :nana2:

PMSL, it was impulse, went to look at a GTR but it had gone, seen this tidy little evo and thought "hey thats fookin nice"
