Cleaned up my old cover,The red strip with the ali wording was a bit scratched...... Thinners took off the red strip and left a lovely brushed ali strip. Then cut some vinyl lettering .........Bobs your uncle, a very productive 10 mins.:hyper:

where did you got the lettering from?

I run a graphics company........ so I cut the Vinyl myself, So could have chose any colour or wording!! I was thinking of doing it in blue but went for red.

The original red strip comes straight off with paint thinners and the thinners doesn't effect the ali strip.......

They came up nice and clean. Never realized the badge was SS under the red strip :cool:

 

I sprayed up my cam covers and throttle cover in Bayside blue to match the paint when I was bored one day, finish was good but regretted it since, so took them all off and resprayed in matt black today.
