number plate would go back onto rentation tho and it would go back on the G plate, pitty again as I only put the private plate on it 2 months ago!

 

Its taxed till about august and mot'd for about another 6 months

 

Everything on the car is new and there would be no problems moting it again

Just had a massive rebuild at z autos in Notts (Ceejay)'s

 

I have put 9k into the car and bought it for 4k

 

so I would be taking a 5k loss, Tizer spent around 4k on it as well.

 

Everything is listed in my rides, I can't bring myself to do a proper for sale thread or put it on ebay yet.

 

I really dont want to sell but I just cant see how I can pay rent and most the mortgage on my old place for the next 6 months.

mate hang on to it , something will turn up it always does , then you will kick yourself for selling it

I thought you said you were selling the supra ed? this the one my Engine came out of isn't it??? So this has the engine you had custom built?:confused:

Yes my z has je forged pistons and is all basically new, tuned and fully setup by noble motorsports.

 

I'm not going to go putting it on ebay etc just yet but I would let it go for the right money.

 

My problem is that I'm leaving home but I still have to keep up half the mortgage. I have borrowed money for a deposit to rent a small house but I will need to be paying rent + mortgage + child support for the next few months possibly longer if the house doesnt sell quick.

 

I dont really have many options right now.

Take a deep breath mate and calmly go over your options

 

You sound in panic mode

 

You need a bit of detachment from the situation

 

If you need to sell it will happen; but also panic mode thinking , you will always regret it , if things turn around quicker than you think

 

Fear is not a good place, sort yourself out so you calm down and deal with stuff, rather than being reactionary to the moment

 

You always have choices, focus on what you want NOT what you don't want

Selling the supra would help me for a couple of months but then I'd be in trouble again.

i did the same, bought my first house, didnt think i could have afforded to keep the zed, so i sold it. After a few months i figured out that i could have afforded to store it in a mates garage. Granted my new zed is much better than my old one was, but i spent ALOT of money on it.

 

If you sell yours, the likely hood in you finding another example in the same condition as yours, is little to none.

 

Take your time and evaluate your options before you think of selling

I'm thinking car insurance etc as well.

 

Its due in may and will have to pay monthly so that will be another 70 quid a month etc

 

I'd keep the trade insurance if still have the z as its just better with mods etc.

Speak to your insurance company to see if they can do a discounted rate for it being in storage and not being moved, my old company did, but i never thought of asking until it was too late

Find somewhere to store it, surely one of your family or mates has got some garage space that you could rent off them?

 

The cost of storing it is next to nothing mate. honestly, look in to it

yeah I have thought about storing it.

 

But what i think will happen is sell the supra and use the z as daily driver + cycle to work when I can. I only live 2 miles from work.

 

The only reason I would sell now is that I need money for rent and furnishing the house.

 

Putting it in storage wouldn't really solve anything. Might stop me selling it tho lol.

 

Basically i spent the rainy day money on the Z and now its raining! Doh

Mate the money you would save in using a little diesel car instead of using the zed as a daily driver would pay for a new house!!!

Furnishing the house doesnt have to be done in one go :)

 

Get the basics and buy the other stuff as and when you can.

Yeah the bits for the house are not the main problem.

 

Its paying the rent + another mortgage until the house is sold or out of my name thats the problem oh and child support doh.
