Remove front bumper, remove airbox feeds that run under the headlight and stick the ballasts on top of the chassis legs, lovely jubly :D

I am a little wary on putting them there, wouldn't they get wet?

Main beam behind the headlamps, full beam under the nose panel.

This has always baffled me, high (flash) beam, how do you get that from a H.I.D. kit when it takes around 20 - 30 seconds for the "bulbs" to warm up

Sorry TopLess for thread jacking

One is where the Hicas stuff should be (this car is a series 5 though) and you can just about see the other on the passenger strut.

It is quite a neat job really!

Should change your name to Gunk , look how clean that bay is, fantastic work mate

Mine are fitted under the headlamp casings (there is enough room depending on the thickness of the ballast)

They give off more than enough light for a 'Flash', infact they are brightest when first turned on, they then dim down!

Mine are in a box waiting to be sentMine are in a box waiting to be sent:(:(

In the box still, but mine should not be too hard to do as my car did have a HID kit installed when shunter owned it.

thats disgusting .. you should be ashamed of yourself :nono::tongue::rofl::rofl:

PMSL!!!!!!!!!!! :D :duffer:

I have the Ballast boxes for my blue car bolted to the suspension legs in engine bay where the Aircon piping used to be. These are from the 2003 GB and still brilliant and never even blown a bulb. The ones on my Red SWB's are both at the moment fastend to the intake pipes until i get round to fitting them under head lamps. as soon as I've taken all the old airbox guff off. (when the weather warms up)

Sorry but you carn't see them which is the point really
