    Pah, been there done that!!!!!!!! Well, not quite. Tried surfing for a couple of years but Bournmouth in the middle of winter just ain't quite the same.:rofl:

    They say about a ton per metre of lip, but it doesn't work like that (fortunately) when it hits you. I used to live in Newquay and my biggest wave was about 12ft - I was on a bodyboard. Also out on that day, was Russell Winter when he was just a grommit. I was also lucky enough to see Mike Stewart (9 times world bodyboarding champion) pull off a 5ft aerial from seemingly nowhere off a 2ft wave on Towan beach. That dude is the real king of surfing - even Gerry Lopez looks up to him!
