Hi ppl i need to know if anyone is selling a 300zx uk spec tt at the moment? im well interested in this car but a jap import adds £3k onto my insurance! I have tops around £4200 to spend for a car and i would need to sell my current car prior to purchasing it to raise the revenue! If anyone knows someone selling one which meets my criteria that would great. Cheers, Ed

Yep there's loads about if you look BUT be very careful to check for rust, especially on the sills and the rear arches....

are you sure about the insurance problem? have you tried shopping around? I have never known it to add anything like that amount.

we have 4 UK ones here ! should be able to make 1 good 1 LOL

you should definitely shop around for the insurance, my jap import has never been a problem to insure over a UK ZX

Paulg - regarding insurance, the company I normally use added 2k on for my car being a Jspec

Im only 20 which too many maybe too young but i have had experience with an array of twin turbo motors such as rx7s, gtrs and even my uncles noble m400. For me it would be about £1600 TPFT on a uk and around £4500 for a jap import. I really want a manual one but my dad being a lover of autos reckons that would be better option? Is it any slower etc than the manual. Just out of interest is anyone selling a manual uk tt for around the £4k mark?

3k added to insurance!!! i've never heard nowt like that before, you need to shop around mate and like duffers said, if you get a uk 1 check for rust and give it a good underseal if or when you get 1.

Exactly the same boat as me my friend although mine is Jap Spec same Price and Age! Funnily enough is with the Post Office so try your luck there and Adrian Flux was recommended give them a shout too!

Hello there, i am also 20 and my insurance is £1385 from elephant. The excess is a lot of money and it is only for 10 months. I have been driving for 1 year and 6 months and have 1 years no claim.

 

My area is low car crime so it does make a huge difference, if you need any more help just pm me, message me on msn or reply on here.

Was your insurance quote when you were 20? If it doesnt make any difference then that's spot on, but i think you have to be 21 for adrian flux insurance?!?

I'm 31yrs old ans rang Adrian flux the other day out of interest for my jap TT, they wanted £1835...I just laughed at the bloke:eek:
