What is the diference between the fuel injectors for the pre and post 1994/10 cars? The HKS list is for cars 1994/10 to 1998/10, can you not fit them to an earlier car with some modification?

Requires machining of the lower intake plenum and also different fuel rails - Z1 do a kit :)

Can you use a late car fuel rail and machine the plenum to suit or maybe a late car plenum if they are different?

Yep its only the lower plenum you need doing :) Either machine yours/buy a machined one/buy a 94> one. Along with the 94> fuel rails of course :)

As usual you know to much

Guess I'll be posting something in the wanted section soon if plan B comes into force :)

Be extrememly lucky for a 94 onwards fuel rail and plenum to become available tbh.

Another option is the 300degree Fuel rail kit.

Total cost $323 as opposed to $450 for the 300 degree. Granted the 300 degree kit does give better fueling to all cylinders but depends how far you want to go really :)

Might beable to help here, last time Mark (Topless) done some work for me he said i had the late injectors etc i would assume there is no diff from an N/A or TT?

if anyone has a pic i could check it against the one i have

Don't forget the plugs are different too on the later injectors!

Oh and the colour codes are different. I thought I had 555's fitted but alas no, they were later style purple injectors, stock flow. :( DOH :p

cheers dnk ill have a look later on

Early ones are quite square, later ones have the corners rounded quite substantially.

To make them fit you would want the plugs too I reckon :(

Andy, do Z1 supply the plugs to retro-fit later injectors into early type engines?
