all zedz run on unleaded the only differance with the jap models is their ecu is set up to run on 100 ron fuel but you can run it on shell vpower which is 99 ron with no problems

so you do not need to change chip unless you want to upgrade performance /boost etc hth

Yes, that's correct, it should run OK on UK fuel, but it can easily be chipped if you want to do things like remove the speed limiter. Details are on my web site.

lots of people on here run there cars on 97 ron and some run on 95, as far as i'm aware doesn't cause no probs, i ran a thread on it about 6 weeks ago. do a search on petrol or something.

I had rather planned on having the limiter removed so Andy are you the man for the job/

Can do, but there are other ways to remove the limiter if that's all you want. If you have a speedo convertor (kph - mph) then that may do it, but that does create some other minor issues. Many people have written about them in the past, try a search.

I hadn't planed to convert the speedo so i will need the limiter removed ill get intouch with you when the car arrives and you can tell me a, what i need to send you b, where it is and how to remove it and c, how many monies you want.

So you have a link on your signature, which pints to your website where you sell chips. I though there was a post about that not being allowed?

havent changed it though, not that i really care but really does make people think there is one rule for one and a different one for others.

Andy,hi im Nick, new here, just purchased a 300zx 2+2 tt manual. As you say different maps suit defferent engines,so would it be the case that a super chip may be suitable for the 300zx lump.

have you checked to see if its not already chiped ?

Id say a good half of the cars that come from Jap land are chipped before leaving, end of the day they ar a cheap fast car over there.... And you know what the japs are like, if its quick it needs to go quicker! Mine had a mines chip, which i didnt know baout when i bought it but was fitted in Japan, still had all the original Mines seals on it with its Serial Number. Cant say how much difference its made, since ive only ever driven mine (both as an auto and a manual) but it certainly feels quick (compared to my 2.0 HDI xsara lol)

I must get my on some rollers at some point!

If it was already chipped in Japan, I wouldn't have thought it would be set up to run on a lower octane fuel.

fair point, stop being a tight arse and run it on what it deserves...! It will be quicker and appreicate the higher octane fuel more!
