Doing my catts today, I've come to realise that the tools I have aint up to the job of working on the engine. All I have is a large basic spanner and rench set and screwdrivers.

What would you recomend buying. Just the basic need to have stuff, nothing flash

Machine Mart have a good middle of the road range under their "Professional Tool Programme "

Not up to 365/24 use but plenty good enough for keen amateurs. my local store in Derby has a really helpful and knowledgable manager who has often guided me in what to buy and in many cases what not to buy.Plenty of choice and a good range of tool cabinets to keep it all in.
