Paul.

I hads this.. when the car was sprayed they took off the doors and rather than feed thecables through they cut them and then just crimped them back together again.... grrrrr i didnt think it woulod make a difference, but the crimps came out and the alram shut down, not it he way yours has but acted like it wasnt even connected.... i could start the car normally but had no alarm of immob features..... connected back up and everything works again... point less and no use to your situation... just thought i'd share with you lol ;)

Is there a way to by pass alarm etc so I can get it off my narrow drive so can fully open doors lol

check all fuses in the car first. depending on how old the alarm is it should have four black wires coming directly from the alarm to a 4 pin connector about 6 inch up the loom. this plug should have small numbers stamped on it 1,2,3,4 these are the immob cuts. jump

1 and 2 together and 3 and 4 together.

If the alarm is still in its metal box just open it up

Paul

cant you just push it back? get the dog to help you, its big enough

not a prob pushing it out its the pushing back in drives on a slope lol 3 of us struggled last time lol

ah right if i was up your way i'd come and give you a hand

dissconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect. it could have spiked the alarm.

battery has been disconnected for days bud

yes bud

ok. as has already been said then, you need to find the fuse. first place i would look is behind the drivers side under dash panel. or if you can find the alarm box, just follow the loom.

Its the one with the all black wires and you will have to look really closely for numbers, but i would have a look round the fuse box area as there should be an inline 5a fuse near to were the power has been picked up from

Paul.

Toad alarms have to be reset sometimes after the power supply has been disconnected for some time.. You have to enter the 4 digit P.I.N

This is supplied on a small credit card sized piece of card when the alarm is installed.. The instruction booklet, which also should have been supplied at fitment, gives you a guide on how to enter this code.
