ever since i me and the missus split up over a year ago i,v bought a sports car, joined a gym, got an earing, bought an electric guitar and taken lessons and now i,m thinking of getting a tattoo

 

im 39 year old ,is this mid life crisis or is freedom from being under the thumb and not allowed to do the things i want for 15 years:duffer:

No such thing as a mid life crisis. imo you should be able to do what you want to do and when you want to do it.:duffer:

If you're doing it because you wanted to but couldn't before, then you are just enjoying your freedom.

 

If you're doing it because you think you're half way through your "three score years and ten" and it's about time you did, then it's a mid-life crisis.

Wife says I am having one though as from 40 I have bought the

Yamha FS1E I had at 17 and spending a small fortune on it and still no where near finished

 

and I recently could not resist a raleigh Grifter like I had at 15:eek:

 

(Not the actual Bike but identical)

 

So I would say I am with you brother ;) cos the other option is I have lost my marbles

Jesus a Yam Fizzy, now that brings back memories I remember how excited i was when i got mine back in 1979, was up all night as i could not sleep was at the Yamaha dealer 1hr before they opened in the morning standing outside with my new crash hat raring to go.

loving the grifter, i only got the boxer when i was a kid and was seriously jealous of my mate who had a grifter

Think i'm heading that way!!! broke up with the Mrs 2 days ago and nearly 30, bit young for mid life buti'll over look that bit lol,

 

SO now got loads oftime and money fortheZed..... Woo hoooooo, newinterior and tyres next month and thenon to the full carputer install...... after that... well see what takes my fancy.. lol

I don't think this can be classified as a mid life crisis but I don't think it would feel much different TBH.
