Smithy mate

Has all the red stuff just been painted or did you buy coloured hoses? Just wondered, if it is all painted, how well the paint stays on the hoses when they get hot and expand. I notice you've got both radiator hoses and all your charged intake pipes done.

Also, are they painted red jubilee clips on the hoses at the rear? And, finally, has anyone painted their plenum intake jobby?

Cheers

Mike

Oh and another thing Smithy.

I notice you've got no fan upper cowling. Does this affect cooling at all?

Cheers

Mike

Hi Mike, the red hose connectors are red silicone and part of our hard pipe kit, the top rad hose the same and at the back the connectors are the anodised ends, part of one of our fuel line kits too, power steering pot also sprayed with same paint as cam covers, been done around 18months now and have been off 3 times already for differnt reasons, only 1 tiny blemish where they have been caught when removing, paint used was for Rovers metallic red.

Cheers mate.

Sorry for being ignorant but when you say "our" hard pipe kit, I presume that's something you sell? If so, what do you get and how much does it cost?

Cheers
