door pins

Hi has anyone put new door pins in a zed door before my swb driver door has droped a bit there is play in the hinges .What sort of job is it to change them do i need specail tools etc ,are these avalible from nissan dealers or is there another way to cure this problem thanks taff ;)

You should be able to get a door pin removal tool from Machine Mart or similar. Not that expensive. Maybe £12?

The hinge pins are,nt removable on these hinges but an very easy and quick fix is to the door dropping . Remove the two bolts from the bottom hinge to the door and use a couple of washers slipped between the hinge and door ( do one and put the bolt in loose then the other , much easier ) you just have to find washers , which now act as shims , with a big enough hole for the shoulders on the bolts to go through , you,ll see what i mean when you take the bolts out , they have a self centering shoulder on them .

Did mine in 5 mins and it sorted my door out perfectly
