They need some advice on what to buy here.

She has a 1 year daughter and ideally we are looking for a hatch:

4 doors

automatic

1.0-1.6 cc

price from 2000-2700

I was looking at a couple puntos, some vw&audi's.

I cant really think of anything else.

Personally, I think Toyota Aygo's and Yaris' are quite good value for money. They're certainlu not an Audi/VW but certainly do the job! Also Peugeot 206 is a pretty safe bet....

....waiting to be shot down... :mac1:

Does it have to be Auto ? As I know Paul@SWZ has a Manual 51 plate Blue Fiat Punto 1.2 for sale for just £1100 at the moment.

AAAAAHHH dont do french... been there done that.

my parents quote:

Yes has to be an auto no doubt about it. Safer coz she has two hands on the wheel and she is used to an auto... Im not gunna argue.

i looked at a few yari's and they are out of the price range. But it would be perfect imo,

cant go wrong with a jap car. hehe

What about an Almera, ya can pick them up pretty cheap now.

not the best lookin but reliable

Yeah reliability is important thats why i like the japs, but its for a girly so it has to be pretty.

hmmm i'd say your best bet would be something like a civic or an older yaris as allready said

Looks nice, does that mean she has to put thr baby in thru the boot?

it needs 4 doors haha

The pics make it look a bit pink.

Would have to go see it.

fussy git,

Ive been looking at a car for my daughters 21st and Ive been whitling down my list by looking for small cars with a high euro ncap rating - there arent many

Honda Civic - lots around which are autos, 1.4, 1.5 or 1.6 engines available, plenty of 5 doors around, bulletproof reliability and tend to have been owned by an 84 year old called Reg so likely to be in good condition.

I would agree with the toyota Aygo. For a baby it's one of the safest rides around in it's class.

if they are looking for a family car they can get a skoda octavia on 2000-/01 plate with reasonable milage for that

ignore the badge its a audi underneath -

regards,

alex

or if they want something smaller a seat leon - again on a 200/-1 plate and out of the same stable

That's what I'd suggest as well......

.....or Toyota Corolla; but all except the new shape are fugly!!

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
