The goodridge hoese i bought dont have the metal nuts on the hoses to clip onto the brackets on the car. The ends are fine and fit ok on the caliper and the other end, but if they dont have those nuts on the hose they will fray on the metal???

am i wrong?

Otherwise il fit them and risk it.

I just want to make sure im correct.

Are UK and jap hoses different?

has anyone had this problem?

im quite annoyed as i waited a good 3 weeks for them to arrive :(

Yes mate, the Goodridge ones don't have the correct locators. This is a problem I currently have with mine (not Goodridge lines but braided all the same), I believe Dan at DTA is working on a set with the correct locators and connectors.

so is it safe to fit without the locators?

And the rear hoses seems to be a bit to long? they will fit but will have to be curled to take up the extra length:(

not happy.

for Mot purposes they just need to be fastened to something so you don't have a huge loop of braided pipe wafting around, I made some clamps with steel and rubber worked fine and the mot guy said nice but a cable tie would have done

i thought i had sorted goodridge hose problem out?

i live 5 miles from them and when i got my hose i sent them a whole set of my import hoses, they made them and i told them to use this template for future hose kits!

obviously they didnt!

its a shame because my hoses are perfect! sorry to rub salt in the wound!

bumber, right think il have to settle for the boog ones and just put cable ties around them, or maybe devise something else.
