Is there any chance of this event being included in our club calendar this year?

 

It is the biggest open car show in the UK and is well worth attending even though it is not just for Jap cars.

 

I'm sure many members have attended in previous years and it would be great if we could have a 300zx stand, or even organise a 'One-Make Parking' area to show off our cars to the general public.

So I take it there is no interest in attending this show? I am willing to organise something if members want it (with the permission of our NEO of course)

I'd be up for this, just had to check it was the Bromley I was thinking of. Never really knew about this before but have seen the cars go past the house. Must say some stunning cars there, quite a varity as well.

I have been a few times to this show, its very big and well organised, well worth going to!!

Is that 3 people interested in this?

OK - If we get at least 10 interested then I'll speak to the committee and see if they will sponsor a stand, if less than 10 then we'll just have an allocated 'same-make' parking area..........it will be a great meet anyway as this is truly a fantastic show.

 

By the way, it's Bromley in Kent. (I didn't realise there were other Bromley's.)

When I originally started this thread 5/6 weeks ago, there was moderate interest so I am now re-posting to find out the names of those who would still like to attend.

 

The 'gate' charges are £12 adult, £5 child, £8 senior citizen (£10,£4,£7 if we buy them in advance). But if we were to have a CLUB STAND(minimum 10 cars) it would cost only £5 per car which includes two admission tickets.

 

Please add your name to the list below if you plan to attend and we'll see if we can get enough for a club stand or just a 'one make parking' area (if less than 10 cars) @ normal prices.

I would have been interested, but im at the Le Man 24hr which is at the same time.

Still not sure if my car will be ready. If it is, I'll be there :cool:

Thanks for your support, cybernet, but it looks like another failure for me trying to organise an 'event'.

 

I guess it's every man for himself at Bromley, hope to see you there. At least two of us will be flying the Zed flag.
