Hi gang.

Right, pretty soon I'm gonna have a grand to spend on me Z.

I really want to ditch the shit tweed and I'm liking the leather seat covers and trim kits that the Z Center do. However, they are £700 + VAT and that's quite a bit on top of the £700. I'm also after an EBC, preferably a Profec B II. Anyone know of anywhere cheaper for a FULL leather interior and any other suggestions for upgrades ?

Nice set of deep dish rims and if you have change, a series 2 interior. :)

Thought of rims yeah but the Mrs only just bought me a set of new boots so that's out the window (for now, on me list though)

Series 2 interior, I'm not familiar with the series 2, is that leather plus a few other bits ?

Not always leather, but NO tweed. Might be better off getting series 2 door cards and retrimming your seats with new seat skins from leatherseats.com or something. The trimming of the door cards and other interior panels is very expensive if you want to do it properly. You could simply stick vynil over them, but stitched on leather looks 10x better.

the ebay seat trim kits are just as good, check out apaches ride, thats where he got his from, and from what i hear they are'nt too hard to fit, just time consuming.

Interested, do you have a link :)

Links are in my sig :D

By doing as much of the work as possible you can save a fair bit. I paid for the covers to fitted to the seats and for the panels to be covered. I did all the removal and refitting of the panels to the car and the stripping off of all the old tweed. :D

Nice, looked at your interior on your rides already, very nice, I meant a link to ebay for the trim you bought ;)

It's in the thread somewhere -I think  :D

Edit: post 17 :D

i know its not leather but it aint vynil either, you only have a grand to spend and your not gonna get real leather for that, the pictures in apaches sig dont do it any justice, trust me they look stunning and you might even get your door cards done with the change which would be a good result :D

Sorry but correct me if I'm wrong but does Apache have Rice Rockets interior or Nippon Auto's interior

i'm pretty sure he got it off ebay i may be wrong but when i spoke to him last week i'm sure he said ebay

yeah it was some time ago mate, i think he had it done at the beginning of last year, its good quality stuff though.

i should've been a salesman

He may have done yeah and I think some time ago Nippon Auto was a seller on their, not sure now though

Hi there - I got mine from Nippon Auto via e-bay - I'm not 100% sure if he's still trading, and if he is, he can be quite slow in responding to e-mails.

If you can still get kits from him they are great quality and he can supply extra hide to do the panels, door cards etc and also make up handbrake and gear lever gaitors. :D
