Any Free txt SMS sites from the UK?

Hi there Folks Gonna spend some vacation in Spain and I was wondering if there any sites in the UK where I can txt free sms to my folks & friends? I rmember once Lycos UK had this option but I think they did away with it.

Any hint?

    Why don't you just buy a cheapo PAYG SIM when you're in Spain? Will save the hassle of having to find a computer every time you want to go and text someone. I always do it when I'm out in the US.
