Im trying to send Z1 money through paypal and i keep getting the same message.

 

This transaction failed because we were unable to verify this credit card through our card validation process. In order to proceed with your transaction, please select a different funding method or add a different credit card.

 

 

But i have used my paypal loads of times in the last month and ive just checked my account and the money is fine.....

 

This is so frustrating, z1 just gave me a really good deal too.

concept Z was the same when i tryed using my card, same went for my girl friends.

you will have to set up a direct bank transfure with paypal which doesnt need your card for validation.

i dont know what it is but english cards seem to cock up over in the states (from own experiences only)

Yep, have had same issues with PayPal to some U.S companies. The U.S have a different card verification process to us, and hence some wont accept European cards.

Its ok it went through in the end.

Oh and my bank account is verified with paypal thats how i always pay.

It was trying to take money frommy debit card instead of my account.

All sorted now.

grrr i got scared for a minute.

 

and the exchange rate changed just at the last minute... haha an extra 50p or so :)

im on the phone to barclays and the reason its not working is because they have placed a security caution on the card as of a fraudulent transaction.

 

They have now reactivated it.

Now is there a way to cancel the echeque and make an instant bank transfer instead?
