as above,,my car is chipped but is still restricted to the 190kmh any ideas :confused:

what chip ? has the speed limiter been removed on said chip ?

have'nt a clue what chip it is or weather it a diff ecu but definatly chppied seen the read outs on consults wiv own eyes all the fueling been done air etc etc at 4500 rpm in 5th it does the clock im boggled ,, yes that is about 112 /118

Do you know what standard chip maps look like ? Sounds to me like yours still has the speed limiter on it.

hi andy yes m8 does it look like a 3d block graph ? if so mine has a large red block gragh attached to the side of it if that makes sense, so they went to the fuel mapping and all that been changed etc ..could it be because theres no boost controler? maybe it was taken off before it came from japan ,

If you have an intimate knowledge of what typical maps look like in ConZult then fair enough, if not then I reckon you don't have the chip you expect/want. Suggest you remove the ECU and take a look at the chip itself, send me a photo if you're unsure and then we can think about next steps.

will do when i get 5 mins the chip was already in the car , had it 2 years but only just found out that it was chipped sorry should of been more clearer, thanks

bring it round mine ill try one of my chipped ecu's in it then you can test it up the private track by my house to see if it still only hits 112.

Where is this private track? I'm off road at the mo but come down to bristol all the time. Would be nice to take mine for a spin once it's sorted :hyper:
