Hi guys, first post here and hoping to clear up some confusion on some NA headers: http://www.xs-power.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=23&products_id=173

I'm located in Australia and I ordered a set of NA headers thru local 300ZX parts supplier Unique Autosports. The headers came in today and I noticed the box it was sent in had xs-power.co.uk on it. The headers themselves also had XS-power on it as seen below:

Now some aus300zx members have said these require modification to fit:

#1. the driver's side O2 sensor mount in its current location is no good and will foul on the steering column.

#2. the EGR mount on the passenger side will also need to be cut and moved in slightly, else it also won't bolt straight on.

considering these most likely came from XS-power in the UK wouldn't they be a direct bolt on for RHD Z32s? hopefully someone with these headers can share their experience.

thanks,

Michael

They are the NA manifolds and a few people over here have them on their cars with no problems. One member has had them on one car for about 3 years and says they are still as good as new. I actually have a set ready to go on my NA along with a few mods to boost the HP a bit.

The lamber boss is in the wrong place for RH drive cars as they are a direct copy of the Stillen NA headers. So here is the easiest way to solve the problem. Remove you EGR stuff and get rid of all that clutter inside the wings. You can just have some blanking plates knocked up or buty a Kit from Z1. Then get a boss blank for the EGR boss And the lamba Boss and blank em off. Then get a new lamba boss and have fitted in the top of your down pipe.

Their is enough lead on the lamba and it is a much easier than having the Headers cut and letting new metal in then relocating the lamba on the other side.

P.S.

The manifold I'm told will need a smal ding with the hammer to ensure it clears the steering column. + here is the z1 EGR blanking kit

Yep! Wot Mark sed is true.

I did it my re welding the boss on the header. But either method will do!

And the "ding" on the pipe normally needed too.

XS Power are not really UK based they are US based, but AFAIC are only an importer of "Taiwan Tat" like this

However this particular item is well made (for the money) and wont fall to bits after 3 months like some profits of doom say.
