about £2.5k Stick to Standard HG, or possible the Cometic versions though. No need for metal.

You keeping the stock tubs ?

I really duno what to do with the tubs......

im very impatient. i want it done now grrrrr.

im quite happy with stock tub pressure, 13 psi is more than enough for me, but if them babies decide to go bye byes, il cry.

as u know 2500 is my budget.

If you went for bigger tubs, thats when it starts getting really expensive..... becuase you will then need/want Bigger injectors, Intercoolers, Manifolds, Downpipes, ECU remap..etc

...but then you'll hate to put your engine back in and the old tubs let go 500 miles later.

You could just get them sent of to somebody like Turbo Dynamics to be inspected. for piece of mind.

piece of mind doesnt cut it for me as i just know that 20 year old tubs have had it, and with a new engine pushing out nice compression the turbos wont last or will they...... im also decat at present.

whats do u recommend i do with the stock tubs?

Cheapest option is to get your stock tubs reconditioned. Expect to pay around £300-£400 each at somewhere like Turbo Dynamics depending on there current condition. Might just be able to get 360 bearings for that price too.

You can DIY it yourself....Not something I would recomend, but I know people have done it successfully, and there are other companies that can do it cheaper, but I could'nt recomend Turbo Dynamics highly enough.

Bigger tubs start at about £1200+ for the pair, look at importing from the states if you go that route.

Yeah i was thinking of a diy rebuild. But what bout the balancing?

it doesnt look difficult at all to do one though and i think id probably enjoy it......
