SANTA,P THOMPSON & KREMIT.(are you really green?)

lol no kremit kinda became a nickname when i played as kermit character on the original halflife multiplayer and it evolved into kremit from a bigbird and kermit skit i had lol.

..we have our own mike from m.j.p who would normally surply these items but at the moment his surplyer is not playing fair and trying to stuff him over prices and going back on a sole rights deal he had with a few traders including m.j.p, so can i ask you all to try all avenues with m.j.p regarding prices, availability ect because ide like to surport one of our own traders 1st and iff mike cant stump up for whatever reason then go ahead with the group buy,but try mike first please guys ;)

Have already tried Mike @ MJP http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=107680

Unless Mike can now get the panel I'm after, I'm still up for the group buy if it's going to go ahead and we get enough takers.

ok my interest will have to be cancelled for the moment as I am gonna sell the car as its working me right up atm. looking into getting another tho :D

Ok no worries,as for mjp i also asked previously on a visit and mike hasn`t got,and as stated can`t get hold of the panels i need so group buy it is then! SO attention all you people who think they don`t need a panel or two...you will! Grab em whilst you can!

Will keep this going for a few days then i shall be in touch with the fabricator so look lively :hyper:

I'm interested in the sill panels, probably not the arches though.

is this just the rear repair panel or complete outer sills?

rear repair panel and inners, for the whole length i.e to the front of the car i believe nissan are your best bet.

  • Author
i might be interested but not sure what parts i will need exactly.

usually the outer obviously and as a safe bet the first inner but kinda hard to tell until you open it up fully and inspect, personally i`m going for both even though only the outer shows signs..well a hole to be precise,of tin worm.Incedently these are made using galvinised steel.

Im pretty desperate for some of these. How easy are they to fix?

I`m not a welder, although i am reliably informed it`s pretty straight forward for someone with experience, would ask someone like stella z who did his with the help of his dad.The main thing is what lurks behind the outer panel as the inner sills have a tendency to have started to go if the outer ones are already perforated,as for the arches, would have thought they will be an easier task all round, and then rust proof them from the inside from around the boot trim/rear strut area and under seal under the arch (on the outside)with a flexible seal once all the paintings done.

Didn't see this thread. The whole sill section is about £200 + VAT from Nissan and I've seen a lot that have corrosion all the way down! I'd be interested in the arches mate if you can get them made up. Finances are a little tight at the mo' but end of next month would be ok. How much 'height' are the arch repair panels?
