Well i am looking for 2 new iphones, 1 for my dad and one for me, a 8Gb and a 16Gb

anybody here want to help me out, by going out to buy them and sending them to me

ill pay 20 pounds for the trouble to get them and ofcourse the entire iphone and shipping.

i can do it but you will have to get them unlocked when you want to use them in belgium as they will only work on the o2 network with the supplied sim card.

Don't bother getting one (or two) from the UK as (a) they will be locked to the O2 network and (b) they are most expensive compared to other countries in the EU (France seems to be cheapest).

 

Alternatively, get one from the US and have it shipped back. Much, MUCH cheaper and they'll work out of the box!

well, if i buy a iphone here its 450-500 euro

in amerika its 280 euro, but there comes 100 euro tax + shipping expenses with it.

if i buy a 8Gb in the Uk, its 350 euro, shipping and 16 euro for the one who gets them for me

so its a whole lot cheaper in england for me

and if they screw me over, i can come over there and whoop some ass

also

france and germany are 400 euro

but i speak german so bad its redicules and france isnt my thing either

and its still a whole ride to get to the borders for me

just got a samsung f700v much much better!!

they can be unlocked but you won't be able to update the software through i tunes as it will just lock the handset up again, but you can live without the updates, i will do it for you but let me look at costs first and ill let you know tomorrow.

n95 8gig is a awesome phone, the iphone is ok but its a few steps backwards , its just a nice interface

the reason the iphone is so popular is nog the full touch screen, it also helps

but the user interface which makes it so easy to use.

prices work out at 864 euros all in, includes both phones, postage, my fee and paypal transaction charges. seems abit steep but cant see any other way.

i haven't found it to be like that, its no i phone to use. i used one in the shop (veiwty) and the interface was cr@p and it did freeze a few times so i said i didnt want that one and they gave me another and its been fine. i did want the iphone i used it and it was great but the problems it has put me off i'm waiting for the revised version

If it works for you then that's great. I'm just coming from a Windows Mobile background so it was a bit annoying to find a touch screen phone which still works very much like a phone with buttons.

 

Having said that the interface for the iPhone is improving as they do reguarly do firmware updates and there are new features being adding which I quite like. I'm still annoyed that I can't add attachments to my emails but I can forward and email with one! :rofl:
