Whats the best stuff to put on the oil stains on me drive way. since the zed is having its leak fixed nows the best time to soak it up with something.

something household would suit, dont fancy buying anything really, im not that keen.

You could try fairy liquid, hot water and some elbow grease..................... I don't know if it will work but it sounds reasonable to me

i just coated it with bleach and im going to leave it to soak up see what happens.

its probably going to die the outside of the stain white haha. we will see

You need a detergent, bleach won't do a very good job and will probably leave marks of it's own, albeit clean ones.

Degreaser?

did ya clean up the oil i left behind on your drive?

sorry :S

Degreaser is just a detergent, like someone said, Fairy liquid and hot water. But soak up any excess oil with cement dust first.

My drive is gravel, so I just kicked it around a bit and it disappeared.

haha kicked it around.

degreaser is what i use at work to loosen grease and oil etc.

there isnt so much a puddle but a stain now. so it doesnt need soaking.

my sister works in tesco and a bloke used to come in and buy lots of cheap coke, apperently he owned a garage and found this the best way to get rid of oil

realy?!?!?!? haha maybe il give it a go, just seems like a bit of a waste of sweet tasty cola mmmmmmmmm cooollllaaaaaa

i suppose it fizzes up and separates the oil?

i have had some success with proper oil remover solutions more so if used through a high poewered jet wash!

I've heard coke works too, but I just throw washing powder down and scrub it with hot water - seems to work quite well.

You cn buy some stuff from the states that is made for this exact purpose. If anyone is interested I can find out what it's called.
