Took my rear lights off and tinted them! Fitting them this morning. How do I fit them? I know where all the bolts go, but the lights dont slide in? Do I need to use force to stick them back in?

Also, two of the gold bolts have come out of their "hole"? How do I get them back in?

 First of all they really should slide back in, there is no reason why they should'nt. When re-fitting make sure you get all the bolts in the holes a little bit to start and then give them a push, then simply tighten the nuts and that will pull the lamp unit to where it should be, do NOT overtighten though ;)

Secondly if bolts are what i am thinking off then they have an abrasive head which you just need to push back into the lamp unit. Put the unit on firm surface but obvioulsy protect the lense and give the bolt a little knock with a hammer and they will go back in ok.

HTH :)

The lights look great!! Only prob is, the lacquer (even though we thought it was) wasnt dry properly and when I put the lights back in my coat rubbed on it a little, this left a slightly rough texture and it looks like it needs a buff. My answer is, how can I get those marks like the rest (glass finish)?

Also, my lights "light" is on when I brake, although they are working?

It thinks there is a brake light bulb out. I presume you have just installed some LEDs? if so just remove the bulb from the dash :D

either sand it back with wet and dry or buff it up with an abrasive polish, you need to check the bulbs properly as you may have 1 on the way out, or you aint put the wires back properly.

I just t cutted mine back

took about half the dark laquer off that I had painted on but the finish is good and they are not too dark

if its rough you may need a cutting compound like G3 but this may take the laquer off if you aint careful but t-cut and a buffer would probably do it like Ed said.
