As it says, the estate agents want to thieve £3850 from me, for 3 adverts in a local paper + inserting an ad in their window + on rightmove.co.uk.

Bear in mind, our last house sold in a week+ that was the last we saw of the estate agency.

Then of course, the solicitors want £3700+ wont say thats all i need.

Last time we moved, i was on the phone constantly, listening to 101 excuses, why so+so was waiting for this and that.

Sooo.

What am i paying for?,how can i pay less? who has done it all themselves??

you can do the adds yourself. photo and description, £50-80 per paper. Do a House viewing, get all teh information in a folder for teh viewing. Make sure the house is tip top. Focus on positives, never mention anegetive.

Im pretty sure you can do the legal stuff yourself, and tehre are books on it out tehre. dont do this though as its not worth it.

as to moving, hire a waggon yourself.

and put up your own for sale sign outside your house. Don't forget people will drive around an area to look for "for sale" signs ;)

I sold 2 flats without teh use of agents.
