Was looking at getting a brake brace, anyone know the best place to get one?

Also do they make a big difference in firming up the pedal when braking?

they do make difference but you need to get a descent 1 as the cheap ebay jobbies bend after a while.

Yep, about a 5 minute job if you don't know what you're doing and a 2 minute job if you do!

 

The brace is supplied with full fitting instructions (incl. pics, etc) so you can't go wrong.

 

There is only limited stock remaining (2 units only) so if you do want one let me know now and I'll reserve it for you.

No problem - you're in the orderbook for one. They are unpolished stainless steel (you don't see them once installed so no need to polish - but can be easily done).

Pardon my ignorance but what is a brake brace and what does is do?

As I understand it, it is to prevent flexing in the firewall when you press the brakes giving a firmer peddle feel but no improvement in braking performance, Ive got one somewhere but haven't fitted it yet so thats just guesswork lol
