Has anyone fitted them without thinking I wish I never bothered    I'm so fed up with trying this and that

that I can only see the funny side!!

I also can't beleive that none of the major seat brands, such as Cobra, OMP, Corbeau, Sparco do anything for the 300ZX  , yet they do the subframes for the 200SX!!

The only light at the end of the tunnel is that the Cobra Misano's look absolutely stunning in the car, although in hindsight I may have gone for a re-trim and be done with it lol

i fitted corbeau targa sports with minimal hastel, had to make up some "sub" sub frames so i could still use the original frames. any decent engineering shop will be able to fabricate what you need. just takes alittle maths to work out sizes, hights etc

Legrath's fitted some. He'll be the best person to speak to.

200sx is popular, the demand is there. There's very little damand for aftermarket Z seats.

Yeah from what the guy at Cobra told me, they will only design the subframes if they get regular interest, the odd enquiry will not suffice sadly... and the lack of demand is all because the trim kits are so good!!

As always you always find what you need after all the messing around, and where of all places? yes good old ebay!!, just bought some custom made subframes originally designed to take Recaro seats for a 300ZX, so adapting these to fit Cobra should be nice and easy:) only set me back £50, thank god!!

More lack of demand for the sub-frames itself. Cobra or one of the sport seat companies here use to do a sub-frame for the Z. On the other hand you can get some bride sub-frames imported.

I did mine on the original subframes with 2 3/4 inch steel bars and drilled out the relevate holes, really safe and worked a treat !

You can get bride frames for the 300zx direct from japan there not cheap £120 each from apex performance ive got 2 in mine ,bride brix 2 drivers ,recaro sr passenger.

There was a set of 300zx recaro subframes on ebay a couple of days back......if had another look but can't seem to find them now
