From what i have heard 19 will make ride slightly harsh.

18 will fit and about 90 of peeps are running on 18"

17 inch is what im using and i had no probs atall but am wishing i went for 18 instead just to fill out the arch a bit more :)

id go for 18 if i were you.

As above, most fit 18's and they suit the Zed.

Some 19's look great, others look to big...depends on the style.

I had 19's on my last 2 Zed's (same wheels) and in all serious it did not degrade the ride quality at all. They also did'nt look overly large - people thought they were 18's

19x8.5 front

19.9.5 rear

Black one is lowered on Eibachs by about 15mm. Silver one is lowered 35mm all round. No rubbing for either.

One thing to consider is tyre prices can take a jump when you go to 19" and it also means more weight.

I'll be sticking with 18's from now on, just from a performance point of view.

David, I still cannot work out why you broke the black Zed, it looks stunning. Was it a Jap or a UK model. John

i'm running 19's with KYB set up and i find it a bit harsh even on the softer setting

19" Wheels on stock suspension will look a little high

but look fantastic when lowered :hyper:

and i have had both 18" & 19" wheels on stock suspension and the ride was fine. Only noticed it get harder when i upgrade to KYB's shocks with Eibach springs.

Yeh, but I did'nt break it fully working though.

Head gasket went, so I pulled and stripped engine, then I sold bits and pieces (engine and suspension parts...etc) that I would be swapping for aftermarket parts and it was only then with not much more than a regular 2+2 Rolling shell left while I was waiting for the new parts....that I decided to start with a slicktop instead. Got a lot more money breaking than if I had sold her complete !

I've lowered my zed by 40mm, and have Works 19's on the rears and 18's on the fronts, with correct rolling radius (tyre profiles).. Haven't noticed any difference in ride comfort.
