Looking into buying my first ZX

Hi guys, I'm looking into buying a zx. Is there anything I need to look out for? Common faults, problems? Anything that is stupidly expensive to fix?

    I've only had a proper look around one. It was Jap TT 2+2 targa manual. I like it a lot, insurance is proving to be a ******* though, got a quote for 750 for an rx-7 but the ZX seems to be nearly 2k!

    try houghton insurance, they seem to insure a 300zx on classic with limited mileage.

     

    got mine last year for £189.00 full comp with 5000 miles limit

    i am 38 :eek:

     

    you do not need or gain no claims bonus with classic insurance :)

     

    give houghtons a call on 01582 867763

     

    i am no longer insured with them, but they are VERY GOOD AND CHEAP!!

    tell them alan goulding sent you and you might get a bit of discount!

    Excellent. Think i might give these tinkers a call tomorrow. Only need to insure it for 6months and then declare it off road over winter :)
