been trying all day to get that annoying nut off the top of the passenger engine mount no luck im really frustrated now.

does this mean il have to change it with engine out coz i really dont wanna do that god help me please.

and the air con wont be harmed by dropping pump off its bracket, the only sod is the 14mm bolt that passes at the back of the bracket to attach the pump! small 12point spanner will do it

 

 

do you recon you could circle the bolts from the bracket i need to take off to drop the pump please :)

HERE YOU GO BUD...

 

remove belt by undoing 14mm on front of pump pulley, and slackening off ajuster

 

then as in pic remove the two 14mm bolts marked underneath bracket, then remove 14mm at front and same at back rear one can be an arse, but once pump is off the bracket and carefully laid down so not to stress pipework you will then have enough room to move spanner at more of an angle on mount.

rubber pipes on that bank to throttle body and pipes from turbo and intercooler, cover up intakes to prevent dropping any foreigners down there ;)

remove radiator and front belts and anything else that might be in the way

thats sounds really long for just a bleeding engine mount.

 

i tried to take the intake off from the turbo but one of the bolts is hiden and a bugger to get to so i just left it on :(

So long as your careful you shouldn't loose any gas from the air con, definitely will loose skin from your hands though :wack:

if i had a z in front of me i could probably be more acurate with removal procedure

 

with tricky bolt removal make sure you have plenty of tools, nowt worse than not having good tools, the bolt at the back of the turbo inlet pipe your reffering to should be fine with a 1/4" 12mm socket short bar and possibly a uj. have removed it a few times without any problems.

seems like such a load of work for just an engine mount :(

right i just fitted it woohooo what a long bloody ting.

it took me all day geeez.
