You have to remember Andy had an operation a while back to make his hads smaller for two reasons.

One of them was so he could work on Z engines more effectively.

is anyone guna tell me how this is done with engine in situ coz i just cant bloody do it and i have been crying since this afternoon :(

can i somehow cut the old one off or something?

Worst case I would have thought would be to remove air con and move as much out the road as possible without removing any pipes if your air con is gassed and working that is

Probably best not to go into the other reason. :x:

The other one was remodelled to open a bottle of stella without the need of a bottle opener ;)

yeah i really dont wanna start doing that :( as i just got the aircon working :(

i cant get to the mount bracket bolts as one of them is hidden.

and the top nut for the mount is a bugger to get to i was doing it with my eyes closed and concentrating thats how fuct up the situ is :(

remove engine mount nuts x2 14mm's attached to cross member use engine hoist and lift the engine carfully a couple of inches, it should then give you that bit more room. You need to be careful, but you could also use a jack and a piece of wood and lift it that way if a hoist is not present.

or drop the air con pump and you will then have 90o to get at it. Off course engine has to be lifted to some point to remove and refit another mount

and the air con wont be harmed by dropping pump off its bracket, the only sod is the 14mm bolt that passes at the back of the bracket to attach the pump! small 12point spanner will do it

ok ok. if i drop the air con pump do i have to take the pipes off?

coz its gased up :(
