Took the Z out for the night as i rarely get to these days due to bad weather and a busy work load and what happens even before iv got to my destination....

 

Tyre bloody blows out and shreds to bits :headvswal :mad:

 

Has ripped right off my rim and im pretty sure its gonna need replacing

 

Things were going well and then all of a sudden this, cant seem to understand how this happened, i was'int going at any speed and was pretty much driving around central london

 

Dont know what to do, sometimes i just wanna pack it in and just buy a standard new car

p.s. anybody got a spare Kahn rsc 2pc rim lying around? :rolleyes:

sorry to hear that Faisal , hey could have been worse mate ..could have ut you in a spin or ditch if at any speed , i had tyre failure similar to that with some pirellis got a new full set from pirelli and an apology letter after my tyre dealer sent it back to them for analysis ( part of a faulty batch that nobody knew where in uk )

p.s - Glad it wasn't any worse, blow outs are bloody fatal :(

i call mine christine... its definately got sme kind of a curse!

 

i had the very same problem as you in my old grey uk z last year... i had a blow out at about 80mph, after the initial sideways action the tyre shredded itself and came off the rim... for the rest of the gradual stopping time i was riding on the rim itself which damaged it a little :(

 

still... i took it to a wheel repair centre in cheshunt who said the damage was very minor and easily repairable! maybe you should get yours looked at before you commit to the expense of a new 1...

Oh Facial, that is bad luck, but like they say it could have been a lot worse.

Thanks guys, its just one thing after another with these bloody cars, when theyre good theyre great but when they go bad then its just the worst thing to have

 

Gonna show it to my wheel and tyre guy and hopefully he'l be able to repair them but im off the road for the meanwhile
