I know ages ago I suggested this or a MK2 Laguna rear wiper. Then Apache went out and fitted one, it looked good.

I've just emailed someone breaking one of these in order to get a rear wiper arm. Just wondering if any one's tried it yet.

Sure is. Horrible design. The old P10s were nice though. I always liked the 20 eGT saloons. (I know the below is an SRi, but you get the picture)

Not sure if that wiper is a bit "in your face". Its quite big and bulky.

p.s new primera's are ugly and the old ones were bland.

But then the screen on the Z is that much bigger, the car is that much wider that it shouldn't look too big and bulky.

let us know when fitted :) Cant be very expensive to buy one.

I dont have a wiper to try it out.

They sit closer to the screen than the standard wiper with it's horrible skeleton like structure. I want to get some bosch aqua blade ones for the front. Updating the exterior trim ever so lightly.

I've got a Primera P12, I'll try it tomorrow and take some pics for you.

In fact, the wifes on the treadmill just now so i'll go and take it off and i bet she doesn't notice.

Excellent! Would really appreciate that. :)

Looks like an earlier one I think. They were changed in 03/04 model years for the large plastic covered one pictured above with contoured blade. I'm guessing yours like like an 01 plate or something?

Same size though, so would be interested to see it fitted. :duffer:

I've got a Laguna one on mine but it would be nice to know if this bigger.

The Laguna's is a bit shorter so sweeps a little lower. Nothing to worry about though 'cos it looks SO much better LOL.

There are two types of Laguna ones. The early ones that Apache has fitted....not sure what you have Graham, then there's the MK2 ones....like this....

no its a 53

Must be the changeover year. If you look at 54 and 55 plate ones, they have a different arm and blade. Same size though.

I've got the one previous to that one Si.

The arms the same but i changed the wiper part last year. Your right though the origional was a lot fuller, this is a bosch one. I try it anyway to give you an idea.

No, the arms are different. Yours is metal whereas the newer ones have a plastic covering. Same size though.

yeah this one's metal, i'll ask my cousin when i see her if she can get them as she works in Arnold Clarks parts dept, i always forget about her and buy my parts elsewhere but it was her who got me all the parts for the Primera as it was accident damaged. :headvswal

There are sometimes Primeras being broken on ebay. I've found one and emailed the seller. My girlfriend's father actually used to be the manager of a large Nissan dealership and has friends that still work there. I could probably get the bits for nothing. He was telling me the other day when they had the first Z32 in.

He still really likes them now even though he drives around in £60ks worth of 7 series.

you would be suprised to know there more than wiper arms on primeras that can be used on a z

ive got a laguna one on mine i think it looks better than the skinny original but its got a bit shorter wipe area

You have the older one from the late MK1s. I've just fitted a MK2 and had the wipers laid out together the reach and size is the same, although on the curve is in a different place, but the actual position and length of the wiper is identical. Sweep area remains totally unchanged. :)
