I OWN A ZED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

I bought Col_Almera's zed on Saturday,and by the time i got home (i had come straight of a night duty to go see the car) i was so tired, the excitment level was pretty low.

 

Since then, and alot of sleep, ive just remembered how awesome these cars are!

 

It needs a fair bit of work doing, all of which cosmetic, the whole of the car is covered in swirl marks (looks like someone has cleaned it with a brilo pad!), the wheels need a dam good polish and there is the beginings of a hole is the drivers bolster which i want to get repaired.

 

But as a whole im very happy with this one, and its mechanically sound.

 

Ill post some pics after ive sorted the body work out, with before and after shots, and ill see some of you at the Reading and Phoenix meets in the near future.

:shock: :shock: So i wasnt exadurating when i said it was cleaned with a brillo pad! :shock: :shock:

 

This is what ive managed to do with the bonnet so far. It looks ok on my camera, but to the naked eye under bright light, there is still signs of swirl marks

 

When i get round to sunbscribing, ill start a journal on this for anyone who is interested in restoring their paint and body work
