Any Zeder got upgrade bits for a nice SWB , manual, 1993 Jap import. The brakes are crap to say the least. would any one advise bigger grooved discs pads etc or any advice is gratefully received

R33 Brembo brake upgrade is a common upgrade for the 300zx. However you may want to get your calipers checked. It's very common to have a sticky pot at this age so you can recon them and get them resealed for improvement without upgrading. Also think about braided hose lines as well.

Firstly that isn't a waving picture you have used at the end. You will upset some of the members using it that way.

 

Secondly theer are lots of upgrades you can do to the brakes depending on how much money you are willing to spend.

 

You can service your callipers, change the fluid and go for new drilled grooved disks etc.

 

You can go for moving the callipers with a bracket and using a bigger disk. See smithys web site for details.

 

You can then go for the skyline brembo upgrade, this however can be difficult as they are not easy to come by.

 

You can go for a complete upgrade with other after market callipers. Something like this.

Not from me buddy but some of the guys and girls are a bit more delicate.

 

I think the early NA's had a different disk size but I am not sure.

 

Someone will be along who knows better though.

 

As said before, if you do a search for NA disk size I am sure you will get plenty of hits.
