I would imagine it would be easier and more cost effective to get the glass itself done, offering Cash usually helps. ;)

Impossible for it to delaminate because its toughened glass.

What exactly is the problem with the glass ?

Is it a jap.I thought mine was doing this but it was in fact window tint that had faded clear and peeling off. ;)

Thanks for the comments guys. The surface on the inside is rippled. They are only small ripples but cover almost the entire rear screen. If you look down on the window it doesn't appear too bad, but out of the rear view mirror (because of the angle) its just blurred and distorted.

Is the heated element applied as a sticker? Could it be this thats rippling?

smash ya back window and claim on your insurance, thatswhat we pay it for and it does'nt effect your no claims

Hi Mark,

Its more than likely film that has been applied to the rear window. if you clean it off just be careful of the heating elements, as they are very fragile.

John

Have had this problem, my window was tinted and it was the film lifting, i got stuck it with a stanley blade and some evostik solvent, took me a while and it stunk to high heaven but i got it done, a couple of hours and a sore back. ;)

Cheers folks, I'm guessing this is just the factory tint lifting though. I'll have a look at removing it.

Mark

Its not a factory tint, its an aftermarket tint job with cheap film.

As said remove film then remove the glue with a good glue remover, nice job to do!
