hiya people,

i'll just echo everyone elses sentiments, top weekend.

sorry i couldnt stay around longer on the sunday to meet some of you, but i needed to get back home..

getting married this week and have loads to do

cheers to the guys i was drinking with saturday night, made a nice chilled stag do.. no hassles

only thing that spoiled it for me was the ignorant git that revved their car up on my leg and ruined my jeans for me, nice way to lose 50 quid

they were too busy showing off and giving it the large to their mates to be genuinely apologetic about it

i'm sure if i had accidently spilt beer on their car or into the interior they would have been just as gracious as me about it such an accident

sometimes, your first impression of someone is the right one, even before you meet them.

Glad you enjoyed it Craig. I share your sentiments. It's a shame that some people have more money than courtesy.

I also thought it was a great weekend. Met some great people and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Especially when I reckoned that if I stuck the bonnet up on the shogun, people might crowd around - and sure enough they did - all wondering what was so special !!!

NOTHING !!!

hey craig, don't throw the jeans away,

add 1/2 a cup of bleach to 8 litres of water and soak the jeans, then apply vinegar to sooty area and it should dissapear.

either that or you will end up with some rather funky looking jeans.

Good luck at the wedding!!

Mike

Hmmmmm, had a similair incident myself!. Revved up the car not realising that there was someone standind behind it. But i wasn't ignorant and APLOGISED for it as it wasn't nice but he carried on bitchin' for a while so i got a little pissed off. I mean what did he want me to do, get on my knees and beg for forgivness?. It was only a little sooty water though and would have washed straight out so it couldn't have been me. smile.gif

hmm...

when i say something, particularly if i'm apologising for something, then i genuiunely try to be sincere about it

thats the point.

When you dont look for more than a millsecond and just say "yeah sorry mate" and look away again, then to me thats damn rude, thats no apology.

me: hey, look what you did to my jeans. you could at least have looked in your mirror first.

you: yeah, sorry mate.

me: yeah, well sorry aint gonna fix it, is it.

and then you start with some attitude like "well what do you expect me to do about it, blah blah..."

all i expected was a bit more courtesy about it

and soap and water dont wash out petrol/oily muck like that.

but dont worry yourself about it

people who know me know i dont generally get arsey about anything, and am very laid back and placid, except when people are fucking rude to me.

Hehe dont worry about it too much Craig - look at it as Karma

If his zorst dumped all that shitty oily crap on your jeans then £50 for a new set of Levis is nothing compared to the £2000 he would need to sort out oil dumping turbochargers LMAO wink.gif !

Ok fair enuff mate, but my concentration was in a million directions with people asking me so many questions and i just got distracted, but my apology was genuine. If the damage was really that bad, then get it dry cleaned and send me the bill, thats the best i can do. I dont want you to think that your opinion of me (whatever that may be) is correct, so again, my apologies.

Tut Tut!

Lucky there wasn't a toddler stood by your exhaust, as you would have barbequed them!

Who cares...as long as you look cool eh?!!

Congratulations Craig, I didn't know you were getting married, my best wishes to you and your intended.

Mike
