actualy, im gona get one of these, maybe they would do a group discount

Get a Nistune type 2 board...it does the same thing but better:

no external cables and boxes sticking out of your ECU and the realtime programming/monitoring is through the consult port

It also comes with better software

I looked at the Nistune site a little while ago - it does look like a good product.. Just how advanced are the capabilities of the stock ECU - I mean, in terms of things like: Ign. and Inj. adjustment based on coolant temp, air temp, TPS, and accelerator enrichment?

I'm guessing there's no air temp corrections of course, since we have no stock air temp sensor :)

(Good to see you're still here, Eric)

:D

a zemulator might not be a good option for you then either

For any realtime tuning application you need to have knowledge of how the ECU works and what each parameter/map does or stands for.

Our stock ECU is good enough for most applications when in the right hands ;)

I even use our ECU's to run tuned R33's on nowadays and prefer it over a PowerFC

Good to know :) I've found the PFC pretty easy to work with (though it does have it's little idiosyncrasies), so it sounds like the nistune would be a very good option when I finally get back to the Z.

I am in the process of trying to get one of these so would be happy to organise a GB on it and any of the other AshSpec products (alloy rad/intakes). Anyone interested let me know.

The Nistune looks impressive, and just £200 for Hardware and Software

I was looking to get the Zemulator once I have my Wideband sensor but after reading the manuals and other forums Im favouring the Nistune now.
