Bought HID kit- managed to change bulbs without taking skin off knuckles- BUT where to locate the Control Units/Ballast & are there any areas to avoid- eg close to Alarm control unit?- leads provided with HID kit are less than 20ins so limited as to where to locate the units-

Any help most welcome guys!

Quite a few threads on this topic, one started by myself. I found you can mount them under the nose panel using existing holes and the nose panel will just about fit back over them. HTH. ;) BTW bought mine off DTA. :)

Well do a search for hid fitting and you will find plenty of suggestions, some people put them under the head lamps others in the wings, others just stick them anywhere. ;)

Mine are mounted on the underside of the headlight support panels, very neat and out of sight. you would have to remove the bumper and do it from the underneith tho!

They will fit under the nose panel if you have aftermarket filter. Mine are mounted under headlights becuase I took them out to clean the insides at same time.
