Has anyone bought a single alloy before, where did you get it from??

Any suggestions welcome. :)

Also what are the best tyre sizes, i'm guessing 235/40/18 and 265/35/18, is that right or i am better with different sizes, if so which ones???

If you can track down the make / model you should be able still get a wheel. A good place to try is TSW in Clevedon, nr Bristol. They turnover such a large quantity of wheels, ultimately they end up with odd rims spare, some may have a nick in the rim where it has hit by another rim whilst in store, but you could also get that sorted at the same time. They look a nice design of rims and typically of those imported from Eastern block countries where they only put one coat of laquer on them.

Cheers bud, they are AXE AP30 wheels.

Do you have any contact details for TSW in Clevedon?

Bump.

Anyone bought a single wheel, if so where from???

I have emailed a couple of companies but i would like to contact others aswell, especially if someone has already dealt with them for the same reason.

I just searched on Google and there are heaps of places that sell those wheels. I'm sure they will sell them individually, that's what must happen when someone damages one.

I have emailed quite a few but don't get a reply, dunno why. But thats why i thought if someone has already done this they could recommend someone. :)

I have Azev rims and damaged one when I had a tyre blow a few years ago - I dented the outer edge on a cats-eye at 90mph.....

.....I just contacted the importers of Azev wheels and bought one with no probs.

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Been told by Edworthys (who i thought was gonna be my best shot) that they are now discontinued, so although there are loads of companies out there selling full sets i can't find a single wheel on its own. :(

So if anyone knows where one exists (a very long shot i know) please let me know.

Just to clarify, its a 18x9.5, 5x114.3 pcd, et35.

Edworthy's? I would not trust them to tell me the time of day.

And many companies will not bother to email you back but a phone call can bring results.

I know what you mean bud, the only reason i like to email is so that i'm not describing to a half wit what i need.

I have now had a response from POTN and they can get me one for £200 all in, which i thought was quite dear! but i like the alloys and i want to refurb them gold so i might just bite the bullet and fork out.

Oh and also after speaking to the guy on the phone to edworthys i would prefer not to deal with them!!!

I sold a car to a friend, he put it into Edwor***** for an alarm some months after buying it, picked it up from them with a big end rattle. He thought they had ragged it about. Nice.
