Batteries (maybe a red top)

My car now takes a lil longer to start and you can feel it needs a extra boost from the battery.

 

In the past i've had yellow top optimas for car audio systems.

 

Am i correct in saying that red tops are for starting?

 

Also is that my solution? and is there a better or alternative battery worth a consideration?

    I thought a red top was a vauxhall engine!

    I've heard of the redtop engine also :D

     

    They a battery made by Optima, they do a redtop and a yellowtop for different enviroments. I believe the redtop is for starting and the yellowtop is for car audio.
