ive just aquired a set of 350z gold brembo`s for less than £600 :D , which i thought was quite cheap. has anyone else got them fitted, is there a significant difference in braking and whats the maximum disc size i can go to. any info would be appreciated.

If that was front and rears for 600 then yep it was cheap, if just the fronts, well they tend to go for between 450-550 depending on condition and often with pads and or discs.

Standard size is 324mm same as the GTR, however you can fit 330mm under with no altering, anything bigger in size and i would expect to see a bracket needed to allow for the much bigger size, however the biggest problem would be getting the correct offset, stick with the 324mm, you'll notice a vast improvement compared to stock. ;)

You will also need to get the rear hub lug cut off and welded back on in a different place. I got some photos from someone on here showing what needs done if you want me to send them.

is that only with fitting larger than 324mm discs ? or will i have to do that anyway.

You will have to do that anyway as the mounting hole gaps on the callipers are different. Did you get the bolts to mount the callipers to the hub? These are also bigger so you have to drill the hub holes bigger aswell.

didnt get the bolts, but will get new ones anyway. i know they need drilling out from 12 - 14mm which isnt a problem.

I have these on mine, in fact I suspect those photos came from my work.

The improvement is great and the brakes look good too.

You will need 17" or larger wheels of course.

thanks andyp and steve.

andy, i have purchased the wheels off gumballs black one which are 18s so will be ok :D

If you go for the 350Z racing discs they are 340mm diameter and you will need blocks to reposition the caliper. Jimmer has done that on his zed and the difference is phenominal. Definitely recommended on any Zed, modified or standard.
