Hi chaps, aint been on in a while but have a problem which is absolutely doin my nut in..

Went to autosport last friday and when i got there, closed the doors went to set my alarm (clifford G3 full closure) and noticed it flashed 4 times to tell me a door was open.

re- closed both doors re-set alarm.. same again tried the boot ... same again so left it set with the one sensor un armed.

I have since had the problem that my boot light is on but the boot is latched tight and the door open light is on on the dash...

i have dismantled the bootlock mechanism and cleaned it, re mounted it (actually set it further down on the sliding bolts so it shuts better) and still have the same prob i.e boot light on and warning light on dash AND the alarm is not arming correctly..

CAN ANYONE HELP???????

cheers guys..

One very frustrated Speedfreak!!!

It'll be the switch, not the boot lock/latch. Can't remember where that is at the moment, but it will be around the perimeter of the rear hatch somewhere.

Nailed it... it was the bloomin bonnet sensor for the alarm, the spring loaded switch had broken so the alarm thought the bonnet was open..

cheers anyway andy ;)
