maybe lol, not quite sure how you got such a low figure...others I've seen weighed are quite a bit more than the standard kerb weight figure.

My UK manual weighed 1470kg on the weighbridge

That really funny you should say that because my UK manual also weighed in at 1485kg and that was before I got rid of the aircon and all the other weight saving stuff you dont need! :D

Looking forward to weighing mine now ! I know I have lost 130kg from my Slicktop so will be interesting.

1580kg is the official kerb weight of the 2+2 TT

Mine was 1580 - something when I weighed mine. That was on a DOT - certified weigh-bridge too....

Maybe 90kg rusted off mine then? :D :mac1:

Maybe you just got out :p

My old slicktop weighed 1420kg

And then after stripping out I got it to 1320kg.

So I expect you will be a similar weight .

TT is roughly 80kg heaver than NA though. Although a large part of that weight is the rear subframe/diff difference....which I have swapped to an NA version anyway so more like a 40kg difference.

What I cant understand though is how some LWB TT owners are getting high 1400's , while others are getting a figure in the high 1500's (which should be about right), without either having major weight alterations. 100kg is a big weight difference.

I believe the kerb weight should be the vehicle with all fliuds, full tank of fuel and no driver/passengers or luggage. ?

Either way I should see something around 200kg lighter than a stock 2+2 TT. :hyper:

1470kg from a 2+2 TT and 1420kg for a Slicktop NA des not make sense

Slicktop is approx 70kg lighter than a 2+2, NA is approx 80kg lighter than a TT ........that should be a 150kg difference.

Quite simple to verify mine

Here are the "pink slips" from the official public weighbridge.

Maybe other people are just mistaken!!! :slap:
